A NEW WORKING ALGORITHM FOR DISTANCE PROTECTIONS BASED ON RBF NEURAL NETWORKS TO LOCATE THE FAULT IN A DISTRIBUTION NETWORK WITH DG UNITS

Annotation: The article presents a developed algorithm for distance protection that was implemented as a proposal to improve the performance of protection work in distribution networks. Where the developed algorithm relies on neural network techniques to more accurately determine the location of the electrical fault in different types of faults, i.e. determine and accurately measure the distance between the fault location and the central and distributed generation stations, and the distance is compared with curves previously stored in the distance protection memories for determine (ZDRact) .
